Lokapala

Lokapala was ordained in 1992 after finding the Triratna Buddhist Community in London. He moved to NZ 20 years ago and currently lives in Tauranga.

He has two fantastic daughters, Amy and Emily aged 20 and 13.

Lokapala is a social worker and works in a mental health service with very high risk adolescents.

Apart from his daughters, the love of his life is Soccer (and almost every other sport) and after 35 years of meditation he is just beginning to think he may be getting a handle on it.
