Buddhanusarin

Buddhanusarin has had a keen interest in Buddhist religion, culture, and art since he was 15. He has practiced Buddhism at the Auckland Buddhist Centre since 2013, when his GP recommended meditation classes for chronic stress and pain. In the UK he pursued intensive Dharma studies at Adhisthana in 2014-15 and advanced Buddhist studies at SOAS University of London in 2015-16. He has also done pilgrimages to major Buddhist sites in India and Sri Lanka. Buddhanusarin was ordained in March 2023. He is retired after 30 years of teaching at US and NZ universities.
